8.5 oz Loopwheeled fabric without side seam,

called TSURI MARUDO  " 吊り丸胴 ". 

 

Classic V-Neck construction same as on vintage T-Shirt´s

with fabric binding stabilizing on shoulders and back neck,

it´s likely that the T-Shirt have some sort of stabilizer across the shoulders. 

 

- Set-In sleeves construction -

Made on vintage sewing machines.

 

The brand embroidery is inspired by the traditional Japanese family crest, called KAMON " 家紋 ".  

A tubular fabric with a superior texture, exclusively produced in Wakayama prefecture.

The fabric is one washed, so no shrinkage is expected.

Limited Run of 25 pieces worldwide.

The “Tsuriami-ki" machine is hanging down from the ceiling beams and the first manufacturing began in 1920.   

 

In Japanese "tsuri" means hanging, "ami" means knitting and "ki" is the word for the machine.

 

  This old "Tsuri machine" can produce only a limited quantity of 1 meter per hour.
