This is a reproduction of the Browns Beach sports jacket made in the 50s that has been slightly shortened compared to the original. Even the material on the back of the collar has been perfectly reproduced, and it does not have the waist adjuster that is common in wool sports jackets, which is a characteristic of Browns Beach.
The Brown's Beach fabric was developed for outdoor men more than 100 years ago, it has a two-layer structure of cotton knitting (Russell knitting) on the front side and wool fleece on the back side.
